Matthew McConaughey Ditches His Pants, Goes Commando in Tequila Campaign

Alright, alright, alright — who needs pants when there’s tequila involved?

Matthew McConaughey is making a bold splash in a new “Official Tequila Of” campaign for Pantalones Organic Tequila, which he cofounded with wife Camila McConaughey, ditching his trousers and going commando while embracing a business-on-top, party-on-the-bottom vibe.

In the newly released promo shot, the suited-up actor, 55, looked focused while working on his laptop with a garnished margarita nearby.

The campaign is a “symbol that work and play don’t have to be mutually exclusive,” as the tequila brand — crafted with 100 percent Blue Weber agave — prepares to hit select airports, including Denver International Airport, John F. Kennedy International Airport and more.

According to a press release, “This fall, OTG is serving Pantalones cocktails at 8 of the nation’s busiest airports, inviting flyers to trade the usual rush for the Q3 Forecast Margarita or the Bottom Line Bloody Mary,” making layovers a bit more fun.

Matthew and Camila, 42, are pantless in another photo featured on the Pantalones Organic Tequila website, for which the box office sensation spoke about how they met and how the brand came to be “with a twist of tequila fate.”

Camila Alves Approves of Ryan Reynolds’ Nickname for Matthew McConaughey

“It was late 2006, and I was holding court at the head of the table at the Hyde Club on Sunset Boulevard, hand-making the best margaritas on the planet when I saw her,” he recalled.

“After introducing myself, I escorted Camila to the bar where I made the best margarita I’d ever made, and I spoke Spanish better than I’d ever spoken it. The only caveat was that she spoke Portuguese because she’s Brazilian,” the Gentlemen star continued. “Despite my uncultured errors, I successfully got a date with her (after trying and failing twice), and almost two decades later, she’s still the only woman I’ve ever wanted to make a margarita for.”
